Writing Web Copy With Google Search In Mind

Writing is difficult. Web design in too. So to write for web should be VERY difficult, right? I mean, it’s hard enough to write clearly but then to make your text format correctly on the web and be search friendly by Google, how monstrous a task! If this describes your situation, there’s hope.

A friend of mine advised me to write with a picture of my intended audience in mind. That way my tone and writing voice will be more believable and conversational. Well, you may adopt the same principle to writing copy for the web. Keep a picture of Google in mind.

Think about using article titles that contain search terms people will likely “Google.” Instead of using a title such as “7 Steps To Better Writing” choose something that people are likely to search for such as, “7 Steps Strunk and White Provide For Writing Better.”

By adding two prominent personal names in the title (which are well known to the writing profession), you are increasing the opportunity for someone to see your article when they Google their name. Of course, your content should then be reflective of the title, so you would need to discuss Strunk and White in the article’s body.

Writing with Google’s search engine in mind is not difficult. But you must keep them and the other search engines in mind when you write content for the web. If you need help, we are happy to be there for you. We offer professional writing services. To start, ask for your free quote today.
