Using Hyperlinks To Increase Engagement

Want to increase user engagement on your website so readers stick around longer on your site and perform the calls-to-action you want them to do? One way to increase user engagement is by peppering your site with lots of hyperlinks to other pages on your website. Wikipedia does an excellent job with this strategy. The result: you spend lots of time reading articles on Wikipedia.

When blogging, consider adding links to other related articles you have written. Place the hyperlinks on verbs and make the hyperlink at lease three words so the link stands out. Try to avoid using “click here” as this doesn’t read well.
