Schedule Your Email Campaigns Strategically

Email timing is sometimes more important than the content itself. When you decide to deliver your email campaigns matters. It can mean the difference of getting people to sign up or miss out on your organization’s events.

Two items to consider are the date and time for when you publish your emails. When considering the date, ask yourself these questions: How much leeway time am I giving my readers? Is it likely they will read emails on this particular day or will another work better? Is the email delivery date too far away from the event’s date so that people may forget to sign up?

When considering the time you send out your emails, ask these questions: Does an early morning delivery allow my readers to see this email before going to work? Will an afternoon delivery be better so it provides a mid-day reminder before the big night’s event?
